What we do

LLC Records (llcrecords.com) is a document preparation and filing assistance service. We prepare documents and submit filings based on the information you provide. We are not a law firm, we are not affiliated with any government agency, and nothing we provide is legal, tax, or financial advice. If you need advice about your specific situation, consult a licensed attorney or accountant.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that you are an owner or authorized representative of the business you order for, and that the information you give us is accurate and complete. You are responsible for reviewing every document before you sign or rely on it.

Services

• EIN filing: we submit an application for an Employer Identification Number to the IRS on your behalf as your authorized third-party designee. Issuance is decided by the IRS.
• Operating Agreement and Banking Resolution: standard documents generated from your company's public record and the information you provide, signed electronically.
• Business License Report: a research summary of licenses and registrations a business like yours typically needs. Requirements change; confirm each item with the issuing agency.

Payments

Prices are shown before checkout and charged in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Refunds

If we have not yet started work on an item, you can request a full refund for it. If we cannot complete a service (for example, the IRS rejects an EIN application for a reason that is not caused by incorrect information you provided), we will refund that item. Documents that have already been generated or delivered are non-refundable. To request a refund, email support@llcrecords.com with your order number within 30 days of purchase.

Automatic annual report filing

If you turn on automatic annual report filing, you authorize us to file your annual report each year and to charge the service fee plus the state filing fee to your saved card when we file. We show both amounts before you agree. You can turn it off anytime from your account or by emailing support@llcrecords.com, and it stops before the next filing.

Privacy and security

We use your information only to provide the services you order and to send you account and deadline emails. Sensitive information such as a Social Security Number is used only to complete the filing you requested and is deleted afterward. We do not sell your personal information.

Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made by government agencies.
